Steps to Participate
1. Schedule Your Intake Sessions
Please sign up for the KAP experiential by scheduling both a medical and clinical intake using the links below. You will then receive intake forms (#2 below) that must be completed before your scheduled appointments.
Schedule a 60-minute virtual session with one of our medical providers through this scheduling link. This must be done by June 5th.
Schedule a 90-minute virtual Clinical Intake with Dr. Chantelle Thomas through this scheduling link. This must be done by June 12th.
2. Complete Intake Forms
Once you’ve signed up for the appointments in step #1 above, you will be added to our practice management system, Owl. Look for an email from notifications@owlpractice.com with the subject line “Integrata - Forms” to complete ahead of your intakes.
A provider will review your medical screening form for any contraindications. If you are not approved to move forward with the KAP experiential, someone from our team will let you know before your intake appointments.
3. Attend Your Intake Sessions
These will help explore and ensure you can safely and effectively participate in the KAP experience. For participants outside of Wisconsin, the medical appointment will be an individualized educational session. For participants in Wisconsin, it will be a medical/psychiatric intake.
4. Informational Video (Recommended)
To prepare you for this transformative journey, we’ve provided an informational video for you to watch before attending. This resource is crafted to enrich your experience, offering insights into what to expect and how to maximize the benefits of your participation. This video was originally filmed for a different group so it may not be 100% relevant but will still be informative.
5. Podcast (Recommended)
To hear Dr. Thomas speak further about the approach used at Integrata, you can listen to the following podcast episodes: Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy at Integrata and Undissociating into Feeling.
6. Share Your Travel Itinerary
Once you’ve booked your travel, please share your itinerary with Abby Mros (abbym@integratahealing.com). We will use your anticipated arrival time to schedule your individual onsite medical intake.
7. Clinical Measures
In June, you will receive an email with subject line “Integrata - Clinical Measures” to complete ahead of the experiential. You will also receive a set of measures immediately following the experiential, after one month, and after six months.
8. Event Schedule
Attend in-person medical intake based on your individual arrival time, in-person small group preparation/education on Thursday, small group prep/container setting & dosing on Friday, and small group integration on Saturday.
More Information
We are excited to offer this Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapeutic Experiential as part of the Inner Edge program. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a unique therapeutic approach that utilizes non-ordinary states of consciousness to facilitate symptom relief, deeper insight, and reconnection. While KAP has shown significant research-based promise for conditions such as depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, it can also be a powerful tool for those seeking an expanded state of awareness that may facilitate a shift out of uncomfortable, "stuck" psychological states.
Our group KAP model features a thorough process of preparation and integration to create a safe container for these profoundly expansive experiences. Individuals navigate a self-directed process of meaning-making, supported by skillful facilitation. During the session, participants lie on mats in a quiet, softly lit space, wearing eye masks to support inward focus. Facilitators remain present throughout, offering grounding and support as needed. We anticipate approximately four groups of 4-6 participants each with a 2:1 participant- to- facilitator ratio.
To prioritize safety and optimal outcomes, we undertake a thorough screening of participants considering this modality. The KAP process begins with virtual medical and clinical intakes (2.5-3 hours total) completed before mid June. On-site, participants meet individually for a medical check-in, then gather in small groups for preparation before the ketamine sessions on June 26th and integration work on June 27th.
